Current root cause is still unknown, but we have narrowed down potential directions and have been able to reliably exclude the following causes:
a. Faulty NPM dependency that causes template flow issues
b. Eventstore losing connection to services
c. Networking issues inside AWS’s managed Kubernetes, which failed to resolve the DNS name to its own external services
Starting with 14:23 CET requests to the Verified API often resulted in 500 error response messages. The integrations that rely on the API also returned errors or had reduced functionality. Current root cause is unknown, however the team is investigating whether it is related to a faulty NPM dependency that causes template flow issues.
Due to increased load on our smart forms, the platform has been slightly affected. Our engineers are working to solve the problem. We apologize for the inconvenience.
